Confessions of a writer. My days are mostly spent home schooling the kids due to covid restrictions. I squeeze my contractual work in during this time as well. My house is a mess, dinner is planned by me but executed by my husband, midnight creeps in and I’m writing.
By early next week I will receive feedback from the first editor I’ve ever hired. So, this week I’m pushing through a draft two of the sequel, because if I don’t finish my current task before I start a new one, I will explode.
I stay up late. My house is quiet. Sleep calls. I ignore it. I’m not sure this is entirely healthy, but there isn’t enough time in the day to do it all.
